In Term 3 we completed our Digital Technologies unit of Lego-We-Do. Throughout the term, the students were immersed in building numerous functioning prototypes of different machines including race cars, snowploughs, gorillas and garbage trucks. For their assessment task, the students were asked to design and build a functioning prototype of a device that could be used to clean rubbish from our local waterways. This task was a great opportunity for the students to show off their Lego-We-Do building and coding skills. The results from the students were exceptional. Below is a sample of some of the builds the students created.
